April 1995

Two industrious Native American entrepreneurs took a leap of faith and started an employment agency, West Eagle Job-Net. In five years, the company grew from one location in Lumberton, North Carolina, to eleven locations throughout North Carolina. The growth of the company was phenomenal – surpassing the expectations of those responsible for the venture.

May 2001

West Eagle Job-Net was acquired by Action Labor Management, LLC.
The year 2001 was a difficult period for the company, as it was in many industries. Our economy was entering a recession, and then September 11, 2001 - 9/11 - devastated the Nation.

During this period, the company trimmed back operations to remain in business. As a result, “Staffing Connection,” focused on four market areas; Durham, Hamlet, Lumberton, and Raeford. During the period that the company was operated by Action Labor Management, much can be said about the implementation of strategies and processes that will benefit the company for years to come.

October 2002

A long-time company employee, Bob Winfree and Mary Winfree purchased Staffing Connection of North Carolina, essentially the remaining branch locations of West Eagle Job-Net. Bob and Mary continue a vision of continued procedural development, increased visibility and growth in existing market areas, and future development of untapped market areas within specific niche markets.
